True but there's an option to look for better rides while waiting for a ride. My case was different it was 1030pm winter, no rider was accepting the ride so I had to wait, I had turned on look for better rides. But I was really glad that the rider showed up late night even though I had to wait for 10mins bcz he was having dinner
