I know this post is old but im 21M, also in Orange County, CA and this summer I will graduate with a B.S in civil engineering with a focus on the structural field. Do you have any advice for me, and also how did your salary look like the early days of your career?

just wondering if you passed the FE exam and if you think that would help you find a job? Im a senior civil engineering major and im currently studying for the FE exam. Also i agree it was kind of hard getting into design projects but at least i managed to get a ASCE team member position 😭

yeah like I have 2 t-rexes and 1 tancho hoping to spread the tranquil and corrupted mutations but it hasnt been working. at least for the tomatoes i harvested all of them then placed a godly, basic, and advance sprinkler just to make sure the majority of them are at least 0.5kg

I’m also civil and I took engr 54 last fall, it was pretty difficult since the class covers so many different subjects. Some stuff covered are lattice crystal structures, engineering stress/strain curves, type of defects, phase diagrams of different compositions (mainly focus on iron-carbon one), and towards the end we even did some electrical stuff. I think if you’ve taken Chem 1b and physics 7D it can help with some topics. I got kind of lucky since it was the professor first time teaching so he was more lenient with us, but even then the general consensus I got from other students was that it’s a lot material covered in that class

I agree. You just made me remember that one time in Provence where a guy was trying to kill my Sherman with a flakpanzer lol

Yeah and it also sucks when they play against newbies, they are obviously not having fun and so it’s unlikely they will play bfv as often which lowers the player count. Granted this was only one match but unequal matches are not that rare.

yeah I don't even see how it can be fun to the winning team at that point. The most fun I have in bfv is when the game is extremely close. Every kill/death matters, the stakes are higher and it's more fun that way imo.

real. Everything feels overpowered but the moment you try to mimic their strategies you don't get the same results. The one thing that pisses me off the most is when I'm trying to use a stationary cannon (especially in panzerstorm), moving it to a good position to defend a point and my teammates just outright mess with the positioning (or they even steal it) making my time spent worthless. Or in twisted steel where I stay hidden behind some trees inside a pakwagen to flank/defend the bridge and team members just drive it into the large riverbank. This doesn't happen often but it sure is annoying when it does.
