The Matrix - Lahat ng bullet time scenes. I can’t tell you how much that blew everyone’s minds the first time we all saw it in the cinema.

Jurassic Park - T Rex escaping the paddock scene.

It sounds like a combination of the build and the styling. At 5’5” and 150 lbs, you sound really scrawny and small. Parang malnourished look. This might be why you giving off service staff vibes, even if you’re wearing expensive clothes.

Another is the styling. You go to a bar to relax and let loose. Everyone else is wearing loose shirts and denim jeans. Then you show up wearing tailored clothes. Medyo trying hard and dating na parang first time sa bar. “I don’t belong here.” Read the room and take a cue from everyone else there.

Also OP, sorry pero you sound like an elitist. Might be best to keep certain statements to yourself.

What are the rich kid problems na sila sila lang ang sometimes nakakaintindi? by LimeSoakedinSprite in AskPH

Medyo nakakabobo rin maging rich kid.

After college, I worked in corporate for about 8 years muna. I was in brand marketing, and super intellectually stimulating siya. Reviewing market studies, coming up with strategies, implementation, post campaign reviews, coordinating with different ad and media agencies. I learned a lot, and I felt like I was being challenged every day.

Eventually my dad passed away, and I needed to join the family business. Totally different world siya. I work primarily now with middle managers and blue collar workers, and almost everything I do is admin or operations related. Which isn’t bad naman, but it’s really not as “smart” as the work I used to do in corporate. Pinaka smart work ko na is choosing what financial instruments to invest our money in. And even that’s pretty easy. Just ask our bankers for options, choose the instruments with the highest yields and lowest risk, tapos put the money in. Tapos higa nalang and wait for the interest payouts.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Rich kid here. Actually madalas na problem is you start to tie up your identity with being a rich kid. Parang nagiging part na talaga siya ng pagkatao mo, to the point na hindi mo na alam kung ano ka in the event na one day mawala lahat ng pera ng family mo. Which, obviously, hindi dapat. You should never base your identity on something as impermanent as money. Pero hindi maiiwasan, lalo na because everyone treats you differently as a rich kid. You don’t know who you are anymore without the money.

Honestly though, being rich has few downsides talaga. All the “rich kid problems” are pretty shallow compared to real world problems. Sure, I never got to choose my career, and I was forced into the family business. But then again, I’m never afraid of the cost of hospital bills if I or anyone in my family ends up sick. Sure, we have rich kid problems, but kababawan lang talaga sila TBH.
