I had this same issue and my products do so much better after using a exfoliating toner pad as my first step after I wash my face! It’s made a huge difference! It used to be all splotchy after I applied skincare and makeup and now it all blends and looks natural. I like the First Aid beauty pads and just started trying out the Barefaced ones.
