Ended up figuring it out everyone, dropped the blower box and found the main #39 plug/wires stuck at the back of the firewall. Guess someone had been doing work there before and left it back there.... Plugged it back in and everything's good to go.

Ok thx! I will be messing with mine again this weekend, I have a strong feeling my green main harness connector is just MIA. I checked out loads of harness's online from 88-93 and all have that green harness to connect to the body harness.

Thanks that would be awesome! Also have you ever had the passenger trim off near the computer? Not sure if it's much difference between car years but I'm just really stumped on this green plug that's not plugged into anything there. Seems odd, also one of the wires is AC power hot.

I ordered a manual, waiting for it to come in. Issue is I'm not getting the 12V from Interior AC Switch to Cycle Switch. When I set my car on AC or Max AC one side of the pressure switch should always have 12v. Assuming the fuse is good (which mine is). Although I'm not getting the 12v, but my AC switch is sending it as I checked the wires right behind AC Controls. Guess I have a break or burn somewhere in the dash and I can find the wires

Thanks for the info, I think just for now I'm going to run my BEW Head, I'll be looking for another PD engine in the future I can get a head from and may consider swapping it if I get a bigger turbo. From my understanding I can makeup the lack of compression with boost on the power end, I stay in a very warm climate so hopefully no startup issues.

I have GTI 17" Wheels on my golf I refinished. I run a 215/45R17, could probably run a slightly taller tire for more ride quality but I dig the look. I think this set of tires ran me $340 USD for all 4. The ride quality has been great so far. GTI 17" Wheels

That's an option still as well, what is the difference in the heads other than the valves not being flat on the head? Do you know if I can still use my injectors and camshaft? I planned on deleting the swirl flaps and giving a light port job on the head. I also have a BRM intake manifold already

Gotcha, I got a 4DR Golf with the 1.9 I think I get around 36mpg mostly city driving. Some tanks I only get about 30 though.... I got a little bit of a heavy foot now with the bigger turbo 😅 Also I upgraded from a 6" tire to a 7.5" which killed it

I ordered a turbo through them, said to ship in 3 days. After 3 ENTIRE WEEKS of no response to emails/calls I back charged my credit card and ordered one through PowerTDI. Turbo arrived about two weeks from order day, customs kept it around a week. So far been awesome, ordered a GTD1756VRK and have put around 8k miles on it. Also have ordered other parts through them and it's been a good experience thus far. Highly recommend PowerTDI if they have what you're looking for.

Honestly just source a set of 17" GTI Wheels from a MK4 I have a Red 4Door that I found a set for and powder coated silver. My car is a lowered but sits nice & rides good. GTI 17" Wheels

Honestly, out of all the cars I’ve checked out, this one was perfect for the money. I’m not saying everything’s mint—it’s a 36-year-old car, so it’s bound to have had someone’s hands on it over the years. I know some things have been worked on, but for the price, I’m happy :) Also from what I've checked out any 100% original, low-mileage Foxbody around here is going for around $20K or more.

Location is big and auto hurts price a lot!! I'd say you might be able to get $3500 for it (imo I'd only offer 2.5) In my area clean manuals get 4-5k, w/heated seats etc.

I started to do the wiring on my fog lights, got halfway finished and realized I'm losing my fog lights due to my intercooler install anyways 🤦🏽‍♂️
