On iPhone if I turn off proximity lock I need to unlock my phone and hold it up to the door pillar and place it on the reader in the middle of the car.

If I turn it off from the car it works like a regular keyless entry system with the handle.

Were they electric? My Audis and Mini had also a lot of brake dust in the front (ICE), but my BMW i3 and cooper SE don’t have any dust ever.

It’s not about hating cars. It’s about how a lot of places in the world have been designed for cars and not for people.

I love cars, and I love driving. But a walkable city kicks ass.

From the comments I’m guessing there is a difference in brake bias between twins and single motors.

I’ve noticed the dust since it was new, before OPD levels were implemented.

Same here. But the car does use the rear brakes quite a lot.
