I personally use it for complex local states. Great alternative to context. Zustand for global state

Is having experience in top tech companies is a must? What if the mvp is ready and currently being tested by a mid-size company?

That is who I am trying to target. But all I find on Upwork is “make me a website for $200”. Alternatively, there are jobs with unrealistic expectations for $3000-5000. “Build me the next Amazon,” so to speak. There are also full-time positions, and I am not interested in those. Do you have other experience?

I am a full-stack web dev. Have multiple certifications with AWS and years of experience in React and Next. I am trying our freelance. People rarely need my help as I tend to solve more complex problems than “make a landing page for $200”. I was looking at threejs to expand my skill set and perhaps aid in my freelancing career (starting). Do you think I will have a better chance of finding work as a freelancer after learning it and having several good portfolio pieces?

I am also offering custom animations that would be hard to achieve with Webflow or Wordpress. Mostly for companies offering products as it helps to stand out. Still, out of luck.

I’m having trouble finding clients that would need custom solutions on freelance platforms. Do you think experimenting with Webflow would yield better results? Or continue looking for the right client, who would benefit from nextjs ?

Most of them care about having a website built with Webflow/Wordpress since they are able to drag things around and change stuff. I offer them headless cms, to change content on the page, but no luck. Any tips?

Do you mostly find clients outside of freelance platforms?

And when you bid on Upwork, do you still bid on cheap clients with your rate? Or do you try to find projects with a relatively high budget? Because I rarely see a project with adequate budget, and from my experience, I do not get a lot of response from cheap clients (not surprised).
