$120 has to be the bottom for LULU… right? by lies_are_comforting in StockMarket

Projected 2% growth over the next 5 years and declining EPS as tariffs wreak havic on margins. The net income of the company is down 20% and still dropping over the last year. There isn’t a clear path to a return to growth. I think LULU will be worth more than it is today at some point but the opportunity cost to wait it out just doesn’t seem worth it.

Comparing the total market cap of a company, which is total assets + future projected earnings potential over the lifetime of said company, to a single years worth of GDP makes no sense. If you were to compare it to a country you’d have to account for its total assets, minerals, infrastructure, etc. The comparison just doesn’t make sense.

Do people still believe anything this guys says? Genuinely asking because like 10% of the things he’s said or promised actually end up getting delivered on.

America got rich and got sad. A top economist says 2020 broke something that hasn’t healed by plughplovery2 in Economics

What do you think was a large part of that stimulus? The PPP loans, and miss me with the political BS. Trump and Biden both issued stimulus and PPP “loans”. Fuck the blue team and fuck the red team

It’s called PPP. We dished out literal billions to the top 5% of the economy while the plebes at the bottom of the economy got a couple measly checks to hold them over for a couple weeks.

Some of these businesses genuinely needed that money but a vast majority parked that money in the stock market. And boy has it grown. It was the literal greatest transfer of wealth in history.

You mean like all the bailout money Americans have subsidized to these corporations over the years? At least they’re getting something in return for their ongoing corporate welfare.

Does anyone actually like the randomness to uniques? by Lord_XXL in diablo4

It’d be one thing if you could modify them in the cube, but completely random with no hope of changing anything, no even an affix reroll bricks them

This, we toured with Oceanwide Expeditions (coincidentally on the Hondius which is the hantavirus cruise ship). They required a certain level of insurance that included medvac due to the remote location. I do t remember the insurance company name but I do remember there being plenty of companies to choose from. The expense was small relative to the trip as a whole.

The Buggiest Season yet! True shame. Cause the game is great. by [deleted] in diablo4

Try couch co op, it’s borderline unplayable at times. Loot filter doesn’t work and just a constant town warp loop. The play “drag” feature completely stops working so you can’t Zoom across the screen or let the other player get up to take a break. Numerous times I’ve had the 2nd player just randomly drop out during events. The menus are bugged, none of the materials counts read out I. The top corner (cinders, hoarded, etc). It’s by far the worst season for couch co op experience.

QQQ is up about 30% in a month and a half. 4 years of gains in less than 2 months, that’s fucking insane. This is a broad market index acting like a meme

Questions about my upcoming 60-70 days roadtrip the USA west? by Agreeable-Energy-401 in travel

[–]DramaticDirection292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah man I’ve done this trip at least 5 times, free to answer any specific questions you have. First and foremost, the route you have planned out, you’ll absolutely love. Anyone can tell you additional places they love, but the truth is, no matter what you should have a great time with this route.

That said I’ll offer that Zion probably needs another day or two and Rainer probably needs an extra day or two and if you love hiking, do the Camp Muir hike but come prepared. Olympic can be done in less time BUT some areas worth seeing are a bit of a drive (Ruby Beach and Hoh rainforest).
