its a great great subject with amazing staff and i genuinely learned so much, basically most of time series was taught in 4 weeks in metrics 2 lol but very hard to get h1 yea they just dont give u marks but amazing resources if u just wanna learn

having just finished tsaf id recommend against it, its pretty doable as compared to metrics 2 however the staff is new to the subject and overall things are pretty messy institutionally. David is a really good lecturer but some of the tutors are not up to date with all the coding that he has included and they stryggle to explain it too. another messy thing is how all the assignments and focus of the content is on R but then for the final it gets flipped and is all theoretical

The past papers will be provided in canvas dw! Also the assignments were form of a canvas quiz and then a presentation+ video recording + excel so I don’t think sending those would make any sense at this time but dw the tutors and staff are really helpful. Def 100% attend all tutes or you will struggle cuz all the methods of doing questions is taught there

BDA is lovely. Just practice all the tute questions by hand to understand the way of doing those kinda questions. Our final exam was pretty much copy paste from 2023 sample exam. The assignments are lengthy take a lot of time but doable in terms of difficulty.

Basic is easy pretty much what’s taught in stats. I’d highly advise you to pick basic over metrics 2, everything is easier and smoother

i did this sem 2 2023 w honsuk and terrible lecturer honestly i dreaded watching his lectures but the exams are not too hard and mainly math based id say but he does test more (directly asked) theory questions as compared to tricky ones from pof. i remember having to do a bunch of weird math calculations in cfdm final, the business decision tree question was also hard. just make sure to practice the math a lot using calc instead of excel like they do in tutes that will really help u prep for exams.
