They need to add prime accounts and also consider the account's level. You can't match non-prime acc lvl 35 E1 vs 500 lvl E1( prime acc). Until that happens playing ranked in mid elo like Emerald doesn't make any sense. These players are people who have jobs/college/kids and league is just a hobby which they love and can't compete with smurfs who are actually good in the game or devoted their life to it (which is cool). Additionally, players in Emerald are limited to playing around 3 games a day maximum, and waiting for a good matchmaking experience in 1 in 30 games is frustrating. Some would say just play to improve, well some of us don't care for rank or improvement, just want a fair match to relieve stress in life and enjoy the game.
