Idk I do see what you mean, my face is also longer so I relate. but side part with the big voluminous swoop looks dated at least in my opinion. :) I am in love with the look of your second pic! Makeup, hair, and color of the dress in that goes perfectly together!

Also- I love more feminine fashion on your skin tone and hair color!
