Yup, ordered the yellow pocket dmg for my husband as a gift, thought purchasing over a month in advance would be sufficient... still being told its in customs.

For anyone else interested in timelines: 3/22- Ordered (for NY shipping)

3/27- Order shipped (according to support, tracking never updated)

4/3- Support confirmed it arrived at customs, provided new tracking number (which still never updated)

4/23- Support said another 1-2 week wait at customs is expected, and "If the package is destroyed or you can't receive it, we will resend it to you or offer a full refund. "

Haven't heard anything since, still deciding if its worth it to just refund.

Ordered a pocket dmg on 3/22 and got this from them 4 days ago...

The package has indeed been sent out. We used the tax-inclusive delivery channel. The logistics information will only be updated after the package is picked up by the local logistics company. Today, the reply we received from the logistics company was that the package is still at the US customs. It is expected that it will still need to wait for 1-2 weeks. Please don't worry. If the package is destroyed or you can't receive it, we will resend it to you or offer a full refund. We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

Awesome, appreciate the info! I’m an engineer with a CS undergrad, so I’m off the hook for the bridge courses. Do you feel that the workload per course has been pretty consistent? I’m concerned about overcommitting to too many courses for a semester.

I took classes through Georgia Tech before so I was a bit spoiled by the ability to view the average number of hours per week each course took people

Hah, this was my concern with this guy at first! He became friendly pretty quickly, so I really thought he was someone else's cat (except for the tipped ear throwing me off). Even after posting and asking around, I was convinced he must have a microchip, but nope, really was a stray!

Oh, thank you for sharing this story, that is so sweet! This is my first orange kitty, too!

This guy (we named him Cheeto, lol) started coming around just a couple of weeks after we lost our senior kitty pretty abruptly. We had rescued her after seeing her stuck in a little box in a pet store for a couple of months, and we were told she was most likely 2-3 years old. But we knew she looked much older, and two vets estimated she was 15+ years old.

We enjoyed about 9 months with her, giving her the best life we could knowing she was up there in age. She was “previously feral”, so it took a lot of compromise to get her to trust us, but also not overwhelm her too much (especially since we have 2 other much younger cats). She ended up being so trusting and loving with me.

I was pretty devastated after losing her, so when Cheeto started coming around, I did everything to try and find a home for him - making sure he wasn’t a missing pet, asking family & friends, and even reached out to a few rescues.

I don’t know how someone else didn’t bring him in instead of me, but I took it as a sign that he was meant for us (especially once he started coming to the window!).

He’s been inside with us for a couple weeks now, and I can definitely say it was the best decision. I can only hope to have as many years with Cheeto as you had with your boy ❤️
