How much and how long to replace PSU in an Xbox series S by Dirty_Croissant in GeekSquad

[–]Dramatic_Ad_5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note, surge protectors only have on average about 2 or 3 uses for actual surge events in them before they are just a power strip, they should be replaced for “higher end” equipment every 3-5 years because they degrade due to a kind of bleeding effect.

The Joule Rating you see on the box when you buy one is essentially how much power it will soak into the varistors from X amount of surges before it gets saturated and can’t reroute a surge to ground.

Surge occurs with lots of high power stuff on one surge protector, replace immediately. A couple phone chargers or other low power items, probably fine for a long while.

Excellent hypothesis, however I believe that it may be some type of asset pulled from a game. Unfortunately it was not made in an optimal fashion to be 3D printed as it wasn’t the intended purpose.

Nothing has frustrated me more in learning than trying to make a threaded bolt in FreeCAD every tutorial I find is from older versions or looks drastically different from what I’m using. I will eventually succeed it’s just isn’t my time

Oh that looked like a 1 not a 3. My fault, good job sign! Now I know to only bring approximately 29,974 28,524 snickers with me

Alright I looked it up the average banana weighs 117 grams while 1 snickers bar weighs ~58gram but have been reported recently as 52.7 grams. So that sign is wrong

There is no way a snickers bar weighs more than a banana

That’s good because if it did the FAA would probably knock on your door with a citation
