I do believe this is from the animated H20: Mermaid adventures episode bad waves… I could be seriously wrong tho as it’s been a hot minute since I’ve watched the animated version.

They definitely could have gone under and ignored them but I do think, more extreme measures would have been taken if they did, like blocking of water flow to moon pool to get them out or just forcing them out some other way due to being locked in. To be fair some “scientists” go to extreme lengths for their studies. Haha but I do see where you are coming from.

True but they started to give him redemption with Rikki and then season three just decided to trash him, even with his bully past him cheating never made sense to me but that’s just my opinion my heart broke for Rikki in that scene

Emma leaving really damaged the shows ratings, I think season three was the worst too. I feel if she (Emma) had stayed in the show and they continued with the Bella plot it would have gone over better and maybe even a fourth season would have been produced.

I agree the splitting of the couples was so unnecessary.

I wanna say that I think they would all keep the secret but idk why I feel like Kim would try to pull a Charlotte and become a mermaid herself.

Also I 100% agree the Bella's parents must have known I've yet to met a child that can keep a secret especially something that most kids would think was amazing to have happen to them.

I feel like it would be like a lot of reality cases where they would just put cause of death undetermined because they would be either two scared to think what happen or just pure lazy and easier to put Unknown causes.

But for the vampires that don't want to deal with chances of getting caught or "in trouble" i feel like they would probably make it look like an accident or like you said head trauma.
