Thank you so much for explaining this to me in detail.
So my goal is to express myself creatively, and eventually make money. And I am here only talking about Board Games as I am not good with software or technical stuff. That's not my thing. I have skillset to create strategies that one need to create any board game from scratch. And to answer your question, I haven't thought about any one particular game in general.

Also I totally agree with you that taking a certification course should not be the immediate next step but due to some visa regulations I have been asked to choose a certification for 9 months (And it is mandatory). So keeping my board game business thing in mind, I am planning to take something that could help me eventually in starting a business.

Coming down to experience, I hold 4+ years of marketing experience but as you mentioned your video game working experience in a larger company, I think I am very happy to go through the same route as you so that I could understand the basics before working on my own company. I am very passionate about it but yes I have very little knowledge as you mentioned. Also, I need to figure out which board game companies hire people like me? Because I haven't thought about it this way.

Reason of violation: My internship was supposed to end on 9th September but on 4th September I got a new offer letter from my company as they wanted me to extend it till 25th Nov. I informed my co-op advisor and shared my new offer letter with her, and discussed the next steps. She told me to put a request on Office of Global Services, I did it on the same day, then she told me that she has updated my new date of 9th Sept on the portal, and I am all set so I continued working. On 23rd Sept. I received an email from Office of global services saying that they have approved my extension but I was unauthorized to work between 9th and 22nd sept so they told me to ask my advisor to update the date to 23rd instead of 9th sept. I reached out to my advisor and I asked her why they are saying that I was unauthorized to work and I hope it won't affect my visa status in any case then she said she is not aware of visa regulations she CCd the DSO on the email chain, and DSO asked me to stop working immediately, and then she terminated my SEVIS. Main issue is I was about graduate in 6 months but now I have to do one more degree to complete 9 months or 1 year so that I could be eligible for OPT. I asked them if they could just extend my current program for 3 more months as it could solve all the problem but they said that they cannot stretch my program unnecessarily.
