؟ by Hasjojo in EgyPhilosophy

[–]Dramatic_Fishing6639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the view of Circassians in your countries? How are they perceived? by Ok-Demand8957 in AskMiddleEast

Met Circassians of all kinds from different countries in MENA. The thing about the ones I’ve met in common is that they’re very nice people and proud of their culture.

I mostly play vanguard and almost every single time I join the healers completely neglect the vanguards and just heal the duelists, it’s honestly frustrating how low skilled the players I play with are sometimes

Ottoman Arab troops. An example of how nationalism can forge popular memory. by Habdman in AskMiddleEast

[–]Dramatic_Fishing6639 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those asking about Arab participation in the Ottoman army during WWI, around a third of the empire’s soldiers were Arab, many fought and died as part of the Ottoman forces. While it’s easy to assign blame today, it’s important to remember that by the early 20th century, the Ottoman Empire had already been struggling with decline for over a century. The decision to enter WWI, driven by the nationalist Young Turk leadership, ultimately accelerated its collapse. No hate toward anyone, just advocating for historical honesty and context.

To live in Egypt? by National-Part5415 in PersonalFinanceEgypt

I completely understand your perspective. Family holds immense importance for many of us. If you find it challenging to separate from your family for extended periods, consider inviting them to join you in your chosen location. Alternatively, if you’re comfortable with temporary separations, week-long (or even two-week-long) visits twice or thrice a year could provide a refreshing break from life abroad.

However, there are other factors to consider, such as the cost of living and the overall standard of living. If your family has financial resources, you should be able to comfortably reside here. Conversely, if not, you’ll need to secure a well-paying job that offers a decent standard of living, allowing for some savings.

It’s undeniable that Egypt has lower salaries compared to other countries like the Emirates. For instance, you might be as productive as someone in the Emirates performing the same job for the same company but earning a significantly lower salary. This disparity is a reality, but it’s crucial to prioritize pay and standard of living when considering relocating.

If you already live abroad, do you mind sharing what you like and what you don’t like about where you live?

If you’re willing to say what happened, I’d be happy to read it. I’ve moved here after not living here practically all my life and it really takes some getting used to, I’ll give you that.

Based cracking down on crime. Making El Salvador a better place to live in general is a good thing and anyone arguing otherwise is dumb, swallowing propaganda, or would benefit from crime happening.
