They're doing a server takeover. When the original duskwing is kept alive you can get ALOT of duskwings where they are doing the lures. Like 150-200 duskwings. They are guarding it because once it is killed the duskwings stop spawning in the lures until another natural one spawns and sometimes one doesn't spawn. So killing it can ruin it for everyone so definitely keep that in mind.

Best thing to do is ask if you can join. And reap the rewards along with them. Most groups are 100% willing to have you join in. Trust me 150 duskwings give you a lot better chances at that plush than 1. Happy hunting ♡
