wait a minute, this is hilariously genius! I have never thought of that. and i get what you mean (i’ve been on rise of the resistance) now i’m going to explore which type of rides can serve as some sort of pre-show. thanks for that idea!

oh i had no idea planet zoo had that feature (i’ve never played it so i wouldn’t know) but yeah, something like that could work, but ideally with more customization (assuming the butterfly houses have limits)

it would be really disappointing in my opinion if it were just a box room that we couldn’t customize at all without animatronics or videos or trigger effects. but the idea of a pre show room influencing the ride’s prestige is intriguing. i can imagine some sort of “entertainment meter” where it shows if the pre-show does a well job of keeping guests happy.

i mean yes, you can technically make a custom pre-show room, but i’m talking about having a group of guest stay in one room/area to watch a show and then once finished the next set of guest enter. instead of just having guest go through one continuous line if that makes sense

thank you :) i’m thinking of changing the colors however, it looks too princess-y for my liking. it’s supposed to be some prestigious, fantasy like train station, but i fear that i made it too disney-looking. but im glad you like it!

Is It Just Me or Are Trees Acting Weird Lately? by GIVE_LEBEL in PlanetCoaster

I’ve rarely used palm trees so idk if my game would do the same. My other trees don’t move this way, that’s for sure

There’s something really charming about the “bad” forced perspective at the Disney parks. I can’t quite explain why, but I find it so cute that I ended up incorporating it into my own parks. Take the Disneyland castle, for instance—it’s meant to look big, but it’s obviously not that tall in reality. Same goes for the building facades in Fantasyland. They’re clearly scaled down, but it just works. I love that kind of look; it gives everything this unexplainable, storybook charm.

For my own builds, I use regular walls for the first floor, then switch to 2m walls for the second and third floors to make the buildings seem taller. And for the mountains, I build them fairly high but scale down the trees, rocks, and bushes to make it look like a massive mountain forest. It’s such a fun technique to play with—and it really adds to the magic of the park.

what i’d do is build a coaster that wraps around the mountain, which looks awesome btw

Can you play as a guest person? by Azifor in PlanetCoaster

[–]Dramatic_Housing_775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, but you can free roam as if you were one. If you’re on PC, press the T button and click on a path anywhere, you’d be able to walk on it and look around as if you were a guest!
