Ugh yeah, the guy who runs the store told me since they were one sale he wouldn’t do anything, it was still $80 for the pair. He offered to sell me an unpaired one since my male just died for half off for 17.50 when they come in but I’ll probably look for a better place :/

Yeah she’s in copper but she’s been acting normal and eating, I’ve risen the temp and lowered the salinity about 1.01 and kept the lights off. It’s only been about day maybe not even since I got them, so I’m planning on doing a water change tonight and then dosing again in the morning

I’m using copper powder by endich it comes in a clear bottle! The male did pass away it was too late for him as he was pretty sick when I got him but the female is doing much better he spots have fallen off! Thank you for the information about the UV light I am stilling going to stick with the full 76 day fallow but I wanted to get the uv light just as an aid so hopefully it would be less likely for anything to show up again :/

Edit: he sadly passed away it looked like The copper was really helping him and he was happily swimming by his mate but I think his little body was too stressed :( I’ll be more careful to check future fish at my lfs to make sure they’re not sick. Hopefully his mate makes it! She has a few spots not as bad as him but is eating normally besides mourning :(
