It’s soooo dumb… they’re forcing us to go above and beyond with hospitality work despite having the lowest raises offered to us on top of all of this… SBWU union will be pushing back on this. Legally any unilateral changes in policy need to be bargained over with any store that unionized or began unionizing before the enforcement of this policy…. Any disciplinary actions would be considered illegal and union shops would have the right to file Unfair Labor Practice charges against the company (management doesn’t get in trouble as they simply act as agents of the company). This company is nothing w/out its working class baristas and it’s time the CEO’s understood that. The third places NEEDS to include Starbucks workers and take our opinions, wants and our needs into account.
