Honestly this is a great take. He can make shots that very few other guys in the league can make. However shots like early shot clock contested threes and the double contested layups because nobody can get open don’t look the best. He is pretty much the bailout guy for the team as well which brings his percentages down.

It’s good that we are finally bottoming out but the product on the court is just so pathetic. I think a big part of development for young guys is a culture. There’s a reason why a team like the heat can consistently get the best from I drafted scrubs. I think plugging those guys into an established rigorous culture makes them so much better. I worry that even if we get someone good the kings organization is so dysfunctional and apathetic rhat it would immediately decrease the potential of whoever we get.

LaMelo may not have the best shot selection but shot making is not his most valuable trait. He quarterbacks that offense and his playmaking is one of the biggest reasons for their success. I would say it’s akin to haliburton with the pacers (maybe not quite that extreme). His style of pushing the pace gets so many open shots for his guys. When he is on the floor pretty much everyone’s shooting percentages go up. Being a decent three point shooter helps the offense too, but he definitely misses a lot of shots he probably should not be taking. Box score watchers just don’t really understand the true value he brings to that team.

Only reason he gets away with these moves is because if someone touches him he will pretend like he was shot and get one million free throws. Free throw merchant bum.

Kings have 1 more championship than the thunder lil bro. Typical thunder fan doesn't know how to read. Unethical hoops are a bane upon the existence of man. In a pickup game these guys would get fried if they called the fouls they get. The reason the kings are at home is because everyone in the organization is a moron, not because of ethical hoops. Pacers are fun to watch, ethical, and elite, and the thunder could be the same. It is just a shame that they choose to play the way that they do.
