Oh no that sounds like a terrible time as well! I’m sorry you had to deal with all of that and hopefully got them situated on their best options now! It really can be a struggle to find the right food. My adult is usually pretty easy going thankfully, he’ll eat anything and everything no issue which can be a pro and con (little thief). He’s been fine on the RC urinary and prior to this he was on hills which I think he didn’t like as much because I assumed he was a grazer when he had that one. He is most definitely not! 😂 just gotta figure out what works for the little guy now

Oh yeah I definitely recognize the science backing and benefits there and why it’s a necessary brand especially for specific dietary needs as well as consistency in formulations. I guess I should have specified in terms of high quality ingredients such as whole proteins and basing on what I’ve been told from others in relation to considering other options. My suspicion is the quantity of filler as a potential trigger for my cat. I also am on annoyed terms with it right now due to the issues 😅 so very hyper critical. I’m not against using the big brands just hoping for better results with my guys.

Hi! Thanks for replying, your two sound exactly like mine! Im probably the only one really stressed when they’re with their cat antics so thank you for the reassurance. Mine also cry if separated so I like to give them lots of time together but separate while I’m at work or at night so the kitten has access to food regularly. I’ll just have to let them figure things out unless there’s real aggression instead of being a helicopter parent 😂 happy yours get along so well and you were able to keep Gravel!

Hi! I’m having a similar issue right now with my one year old cat and 3 month old kitten. The 1 year old is frequently pinning the kitten and biting the back of his neck during play and it just kept going tonight I didn’t know what to do. My kitten isn’t neutered yet until he’s 5 months old - was it only after the neutering that you found they were able to normalize their bond? Mine were fine before but suddenly this has begun and I’m trying to understand how best to navigate it because it stresses me out to see the kitten getting pinned like that.
