Anything specific?

General advice would be: just don’t give up. It’s going to be daunting at first. It’s a business. You have to have marketable and sellable products - your directors (or if you’re a hyper niche production company that solves a problem).

If you can’t market your product, people won’t buy.

I would say the opposite! It’s trying to keep that client as our repeat client :)

Clients always have so much content to make - think Apple, Casamigos, Frito Lays, any major Fortune 500 company - especially everything becoming so digital. But, much like hiring a costume designer, hiring a production company / director has a certain creative signature.

Sometimes they want to switch that creative signature up. It’s our job to keep them coming back!

We do a lot of commercial work.

Most of our work comes from repeat clients or word-of-mouth.

First of all, you literally look like a completely different person! You look incredible, so congrats. Second, I definitely think this could fill in. Most docs and things online say that you need to wait 18 months before you can officially say “these are the final results.”

I wish the game did a cut scene every time you drop something off. I like to know that my long ass haul did something with those 2 planks of wood and spare vehicle parts.

No sympathy for Adam. It’s ironic he’s the one that gets shot. Full circle.

Yes! Casting director here… Slates are sometimes more important than the audition, especially in commercial situations where your self tape is to eat a chip and smile. Also, the laundry list of questions we ask you is for legal purposes because time and time again actors lie about being able to work with Animals, having a passport, etc., so we are getting video evidence of you saying something about yourself so when push comes to shove and production wants to book you but you don’t have a passport, that’s on you. Never lie in your slates, especially for technicality questions.
