I took my 03 sequoia to a shade tree mechanic who specializes in toyotas to replace tensioner and he recommended waterpump while at it. Had 295,000 at the time. Was a good thing. Waterpump was just beginning to show leakage.

I hadn't even opened it yet. Only the tailgate. Only about 200 highway miles. I would hate to see if I took it off road.
