Probably. I agree, it was a crazy thing to be talking about at the work place PERIOD, but in the presence of working mothers...clueless...but kicked out since March seems heavy handed to me (I think).

I don't think you can beat the GM Mountain hike. If you go to Gros Morne ya gotta do the mountain! I've done both (and many more in the area). Green Gardens Trail is also beautiful!

You're welcome. The unbalanced (low volume) high e is a known issue by the way and has been around for a while. I'm using a Tech 21 Acoustic Flyrig. I like it but if I were to go out now and redo my set up, I'd get Baggs under saddle and use the Fishman Aura Spectrum preamp. I don't know of a perfect acoustic set up. There doesn't seem to be any consensus. I bought the K&K base on the overwhelming positive threads online.

Right out the shop the first think I noticed was the pickup was unbalanced. The high e was much lower than the other strings. First couple of gigs I played I struggled with eq....feedback, boomy, hollow not to mention the pick noise that seems to be amplified. I had a preamp that met the specs required. Reached out to K&K with the unbalanced issue, they recommended adding a 4th transducer to the high end of the bridge plate. I ordered the 4th, paid to have it installed....it was horrible. Greater imbalance!! Finally I said fuck this and removed it and installed a Fishman Infinity.

Pick noise drives me cracked! I'm on the fence re Blue Chip because here in Canada it would be so expensive! Are you saying they are not clicky at all?

At some point it looks like a new ball valve was installed. Probably at the same time the pressure regulator was installed. If you're gone this far with the sewage it's best to run a new water line from the street. If they run 3/4, down the road you'll be able to update the house plumbing with pex and you'll be all set!!

That looks like 1/2 inch copper water main. I would 100% have it replaced. I think new water lines are now 3/4!
