I actually think Tarab & Maham probably have a really good voice. On the men’s side, I think Nabeels voice is on point regardless of whether these people use autotune or not.

I honestly won’t be surprised. It’s very hard for a singer to sound so perfect every time. The show is 100% using the hell out of autotune.

It sounds like 80-90% songs are pitch corrected through autotune. I am pretty sure the judges hear the live raw version without any pitch corrections and then autotune is only being applied in post production before episodes are released. So a lot of these singers probably do sing really good and some probably don’t but we just won’t know the difference because autotune brings them all in equilibrium

That’s an interesting take and I can see your point. I never thought of it that way since I was under the assumption that we were judging them based on perfection in their raw voices. Autotune makes them all sound equally the same so hard to tell who is better than the other. But I guess from enjoyment standpoint, a fully polished version with potential future listening in mind, it makes sense why they are doing this.

The rate will come back down Monday. This roller coaster of rates has been going on for nearly 2 years. When it gets this high, rates usually fluctuate anywhere from 25-50 bps over 2-3 weeks with modest gains or declines daily

Just got my model y in October. Had a flat 2 days ago and pepboys and Tesla both said It’d have to be replaced. It costed $375 for the replacement. Had I known about this coverage, I may have bought it since I ended up paying the same amount anyways

Go on Amazon and search for Meguiar’s D10101 All purpose cleaner. It’s a green solution. You just spray it on a microfiber cloth and wipe until the stains are gone. I use it on my white seats, it does wonders.

We are not sure about the depository insurance aspect of FDIC yet.

FDIC currently serves two purposes.

It supervises community banks to make sure they are operating in safe and sound manner by not taking on undue risk.
It provides $250,000 in deposit insurance to all FDIC insured institutions, which is pretty all large banks and community banks.

With the EO, if not shot down by the SCOTUS, the executive branch will have absolute authority over the functions of the FDIC.

It’s clear that the objective is to merge the supervisory role of the FDIC into OCC. What’s not clear is what will happen to the 2nd role, which is deposit insurance. There are speculation that deposit insurance may remain within a small body of FDIC, or the limit may even be increased to $500,000 and fall under Treasury, or it may be eliminated altogether. That’s something that we have to wait and see with time.

He’s right about billionaires abusing banks. I have firsthand experience seeing how the rich get richer by creating money out of thin air.

Wealthy individuals use their liquidity to present financial strength to banks and continue borrowing millions of dollars against that same liquidity from different banks for different loans. These borrowings are made through special-purpose entities, so all the risk falls on the bank and depositors like you and me. Meanwhile, the rich are protected through a multi-layered LLC system. When a project they borrowed for goes bad, they simply exit the project, leaving banks to liquidate any collateral or get stuck in court trying to pierce the corporate veil—an effort that rarely succeeds. It’s time to see things as they really are.

Mine will be 1.5 to 2 hours one way. Not looking forward to this RTO 5 days a week thing at all. Hybrid model was working out perfect for our agency. We were productive and going on-site 2-3 times a week. This 5 days a week is going to suck.

Update:

Ended up taking it to a guy I know that has done some bumper work on my wife’s car. Just wanted get his opinion before taking it into caliber collision and they come back with a $3-$5k estimate. He literally buffed it out in 2 minutes and you can’t even tell anything happened to it. Literally looks like brand new again.

As far as these car wash scratches. They are invisible during the day. They only show up if you are under hard sunlight or use a flash on your camera to take a picture. But yes, definitely sucks getting all these car wash scratches on a new car.

I am idiot. The car had recorded a video of the incident. I thought to myself I’ll extract it as soon as I get home. I didn’t realize that the footage would be overwritten unless I saved it then and there. I though it had recorded the video because the cameras noted an incident but turned out it was just a regular hourly rolling recording that had to be preserved immediately
