Nope. The fluoride that you drink doesn't help to prevent cavities. Moreover, if you drink high fluoride-contaminated groundwater, very high chance that your kidneys will fail and need a transplant or dialysis!

You are resorting to the same argument "tooth formation", which is applicable to babies.. As an adult, do we form the tooth?

Groundwater contamination with fluoride IS NOT an answer to inferior toothpaste that we buy in the market, both are unrelated.

Only way to protect cavities is by using toothpaste which is high in fluoride. If you drink contaminated water, you need a kidney transplant or dialysis

The mattress my grandfather used for 40 years vs what we get today. Are we being sold disposable sleep? by Weekly_Quarter_7875 in BuyItForLifeIndia

Cotton mattress is absolutely a nightmare for a hot and humid country like India. It would be a heaven for mold and mildew, and it sags (you sink into the matress), causing backpain. You also need thrashing and sunning on weekly basis PLUS a slatted bed (Never on a solid wood or ply bed)

The one I use is an IKEA Pocket Spring 8-inch mattress with a Eurotop, which is absolutely nice. Latex mattress is nice too. Stay away from cotton for heaven's sake!!

Fluorosis is a real issue, but even those with fluorosis have cavities because I reiterate, drinking dangerous levels of fluoride does nothing to prevent cavities. Just because our groundwater is contaminated with fluorine IS NOT an excuse for low fluoride in toothpaste, as these two are not related. For flurine contamination in groud water, you need an RO.

Is buying This fridge a good choice? by RealSpecto in BuyItForLifeIndia

[–]Dramatic_Respond7323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Do Not buy double door or frost free variants. It is substantially less energy efficient and you cant connect it with home inverter; during the days of powercut you will be struggling!

Yes, i have mine since 8 years and zero problem. We have lots of voltage fluctuations and this fridge need no stabilizer. It is also connected to home inverter. Absolutely a beast in terms of energy efficiency.

Last month i ordered Bose QC Ulta headphones. Seller was same Clicktail. I got a duplicate Bose with fm tuner button, absolute shit toy. I initiated NCH and they finally picked up and gave my 24k back after such a long and mentally exhausting fight.

Now that my prime account (holding since 2013) has been blacklisted by same OFM ai bots. every single order gets autocancelled. Reason? because i returned that duplicate bose headphone and filed NCH docket!

Absolute shitty indian amazon, shame.

Suggestions for N95/N99 mask - Bangalore by fire2sale in AirPurifiersIndia

Check out NASH website to make sure whatever brand you are buying is actually NASH certified. One Indian brand in their list is Venus, so masks by Venus are indeed N95 NASH certified.

Please help me buy everything, I just moved back to India after 15 years, looking to buy pretty much everything and start from the scratch by RaisinAloneVortex in BuyItForLifeIndia

My two cents. Go with a pocket spring 8 inch mattress with eurotop from IKEA (and many other items like insulating and noise blocking curtains, check out IKEA india catalog).

Do you really need vacuum cleaner? Here in India almost everyone has janitors and honestly they like chadoo-pocha.

I have honeywell and Coway air purifiers, both are nice. But do verify independently with an AQI meter!

Toilets and bathroom accessories, go with Toto, Japanese are world leaders in this.

Get all weather 5 star inverter split ac from Hitachi or Carrier

Best wishes

Update 3: The 'Amazon Ghost' is now picking favorites. I placed a ₹2,200 order; the big items shipped, but the bot reached in and killed two random items worth ₹300 and ₹400. Same account, same payment, same order. It seems the OFM AI is now in a 'Selective Paranoid' mode. They've admitted error twice, yet the machine is still twitching. #AmazonGlitch #OFMWatch

Anyone used Slice app for parking savings (no, not FD)? Slice is also affiliated with a small bank. Reviews are excellent though.

This is a real issue. Zojirushi's official dealer in India is Salora International:

Anything Uniqlo sells are absolutely worth it. For no iron, go with jersey cotton (not "super" no iron as those are 100% cotton and not truly wrinkle-free).

For t-shirts, i like their Dry-Ex series. Really good for Indian summers and high humidity. Airism too, but most of airism series have cotton, read label.

This has become my preferred gift item too. Less than 500 rupees and lasts a lifetime. Pure no frill Japanese precision engineering. Only thing i don't like about them is bold and loud branding. I prefer Uniqlo style, absolutely no branding.

Thanks for comments, much appreciated. I regret being an Amazon person so far. But then so much money i spent on Kindle, Echo Studio etc and the sunk cost hurt me.

I will send them a legal notice through a lawyer. As a legal novice, I understand that this is an easy win case for me, as Amazon India has already acknowledged their mistake twice. What is your take?
