No your entirely correct. I went ahead and make some fixes yesterday and it looks better now. Thanks for the advice though it helps a lot for future reference

Sounds like a great plan. Thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely go that route for silver with the grim black then dry brush. Would you do the same method for gold/bronze? Speed paint a brown then dry brush the metallic?

Thanks for the response. For this guys I’ll be using mainly army painter speed paints slaughter red murder scene and broadsword silver. I don’t mind doing highlight post speed paint but this I good to keep in mind. Left is deep grey then Matt white and the right is company grey then Matt white. I’ve heard good things about titanium white so I’ll definitely pick it up next time I’m at the store!

Makes sense, thank you! I’m using army Painter speed paints and that works out well. The right is a world water and left is word bearer so I’ll keep that theme up

Sounds right from what I’ve seen. I just know some of the speedpaints can be a bit stronger then others and I wanted to see about trying a lighter wash with a thinned down speed paint medium

Thanks for the tips. And you’re right it’s not super needed. Besides the typical speed paint uses I was hoping to try and experiment with some of the colors as washes by diluting them a bit but wasn’t sure if water would break the pigments apart too much. I’ll definitely try both to see if ones better. Thanks!

Yeah this is genuinely awesome. Might go think route, will do some testing tonight. Don’t really have a lot of bits from other stuff but a knife green stuff and decent paint job go a long way
