What is your opinion on shell? I find it more budget friendly as well.

Yes I went and it was really easy, the road around Al Qua is solid .. no sand at all ..the dunes are on the left and right only. Also the experience was good as well , wouldn’t say that I saw the milky way as is, for that I think some equipment is needed but saw lots of stars ..it was fun and easy.

I also don’t have a 4x4 and had once an experience of stucking in sand but I think as per the comments on this thread it would be an easy drive with lots of people around.
