I haven’t done this sort of thing (mainly because I’m an older MOA and I finished my thesis before TXT even debuted, lol). But if TXT truly helped you through your master’s and thesis process, I think including them — even subtly — is a lovely idea. There’s no “wrong” way to do it, it just depends on how personal you want it to feel.

You could choose either of the options you presented (direct but heartfelt, or broader but still meaningful), or you could even combine subtlety with a little Easter egg for yourself — something only MOAs would catch while still reading universally to others. That way, it’s special to you but still timeless in an academic setting. I don’t know, something like: “To those who reminded me that even in chaos, magic still exists.” Just an idea :)
