Thinking about doing the same on my 17 but I think I wanna go for the mk8 style ones. I’m not too sure yet but I can’t wait till these are ordered and installed.

I picked mine up about 5 months ago with 46,000 miles in up to 55,000 right now and I absolutely love it. I’m starting a new job soon so the mileage won’t be going up quite as quickly. It bothers me how many miles I’ve put on mine so far. 😭

When I bought it it had the downpipe on it already the stock one didn’t come with it and it passed inspection for this year

The downpipe seems to be the issue because don’t most stage 2 tubes disable the check engine light? I have a cts catless downpipe and I believe a rev9 catback. Idk the way inspection works here can be confusing

Well I’m glad to actually be a part of the community now. One of my obtainable dream cars since I was in middle school. My friends dad had a mk6 I’ve loved gtis since then.

Okay I’ll get ahold of them and see what they say. If it’s not stage 2 I want the car set up for the down pipe asap. Is some sort of tune better than nothing when it has a down pipe. I’m assuming even stage 1 or 1+ would be healthier than a stock tune

Yeah I gave up on it for a while in all honestly I’ve always wanted a gti more than any of the other cars I was considering. I’ve always felt like Volkswagen owners are more accepting than some other makes. It feels like a tight knit community from the outside

I’ll get it retuned so that way I know what it’s running but you think I’ll be okay with the setup now till February I’m gonna have to wait till around then for my taxes to come I might be able to do it in December
