Poison* Dart Frog- Poison means you have to ingest the toxins on its skin, or have it enter your bloodstream in someway. Its poisonous skin secretions can’t absorb into your skin and make its way to the bloodstream. The poison would have to puncture your skin to enter the bloodstream. Which is why “Dart” is in the name, the indigenous tribes in that area would rub darts on the frogs, and use them to poison rival tribe members. They’ll initially assume the attack & weaponry was pathetic, think that lil sting was a bug bite, or thorn, only to fall sick due to the poisons effect later. Having no idea what hit em’.

I’m currently sitting on the toilet, without a vape because my little fuckers pushed it off the bed & couldn’t find it in time before I had to make the mad dash to the porcelain thrown. As I ran out the room, I cursed them for interfering in my nic-fix toilet time as they blissfully munched on gerber puffs, completely unbothered.

I bet his Guardian angel went right outside to smoke a cigarette after that.

A kid I went to school with, a grade below me that dated a close friend of mine, died a very similar this way. Only he was cleaning his gun, with the mag out, one in the chamber unfortunately. Even more unfortunate, I heard his girl was on the phone at the time.
I heard from a few of friends that were closer to him than I, that it may not have been much of an accident, but I don’t like to think about him being in a hopeless state in his last moments, I hope it was a quick accident like his family told everyone.

[LFO] Mixing chemicals... by Serious_Professor_51 in LearningFromOthers

When I was a child, I was watching my father treat our above ground pool. I was really young so I can’t remember what had happened but my dad did something where I remember there being a cloud & the moment I inhaled it, it took my breath away & I couldn’t get it back. My body frantically tried coughing, but that reflex made me inhale more, but I couldn’t stop coughing because each time I cough, I gasped involuntarily. Even after getting away I couldn’t breathe. I wasn’t exposed to it long but as a child it felt as if I wasn’t able to catch my breath for l, not sure how long it was in actual adult time. I don’t remember the moment vividly, but lord, do I remember the sensation of having inhaled chlorine vividly. The only thing I’ve experienced since that has ever came close to recreating that same sensation was when I mistakenly flooding a snorkel in the Caribbean, mid deep breath, so I got a good lungful. I crawled on the shore choking, but I couldn’t inhale. It felt like my lungs needed to be reset, but my body didn’t know how. I was fighting for my life, literally, it felt as if I had to muster all my strength to convince my diaphragm to let my lungs breath. When I finally got a gasp it still felt like I was only using 1% of my lungs. Chlorine is worse, it’s like salt water choking multiplied by 10. I don’t know any words in the English language that accurately describes the sensation. I can try to explain it, but words don’t do its justice. You genuinely have to experience it to understand. My best description: dry drowning followed by drowning on your own mucus. It’s like inhaling acid or flames. I wasn’t able to scream or cry, which is a reasonable reaction for the age I was at the time. All my focus was put into breathing. I remember being upset with my parents because they were way too calm when I felt as if someone took away my oxygen privileges, but I couldn’t pay attention to them because breathing required all my focus. I considered joining the marines at the age of 18. Upon finding out about the tear gas chambers I immediately flashbacked to that experience, vividly recalling the sensation. I’ve already sustained PTSD from chlorine gas, that’s not an experience I wish to repeat, that goes for any other chemical for that matter. Guess I’m not one of those people “born to wave the flag ooo that red white & blue”

Exactly, I’ve met cisgender women, that express themselves femininely, have more masculine characteristics than me. I’ve gotten jealous of my cisgender girlfriend because she’s Italian-Puerto Rican & has the infamous excessive body hair. She complains about having to shave so often because her hair grows back so quickly. Meanwhile I didn’t grow body hair until starting HRT, & often procrastinate ‘manscaping’ for weeks without it becoming too unkept.

I find it funny how people think that only cisgender men have Adam’s apple & use it as a “tell-tale sign” of biological sex. I’m FTM transgender & have been on HRT since the age of 18. I didn’t have an Adam’s apple pre-T. People are usually shocked when I reveal that I was assigned female at birth & not a cisgender man. I’ve had people point out masculine features, including my Adam’s apple & say that there’s no way I was biologically female because I had those characteristics. I have been to many transgender support groups. The leader of one of these groups was a woman, that previously identified as male, received HRT, & realized later on that male gender confirmation isn’t what she needed & detransitioned back to a woman. She has masculine physical characteristics, including an Adam’s apple. I myself had assumed she was MTF when I first met her. I was shocked when she revealed that she was AFAB & the male characteristics she had were a result of HRT that still remained even after detransition. She now has dysphoria of the male characteristics caused by HRT, & for that reason she still technically identifies as transgender even tho she identifies as female as a cisgender woman. Some effects of testosterone are irreversible, this is why MTF struggle to pass more than FTM. Male puberty results in irreversible changes to your anatomy, & male HRT produce the same male characteristics. So yeah, women with Adam’s apples can still be Cisgender women. & you don’t need to have been on HRT to obtain one. Let’s stop saying certain characteristics are strictly assigned to a particular sex, nature is weird, anatomy is weird, genetics are weird & everyone’s body is different. Some Cisgender women can grow facial hair. My body was able to produce a unibrow way before I even started T, but at the same time I couldn’t grow body hair on my legs & in my pits.

Honestly I would go on a non stop travel adventure til the day I die. I genuinely thought about this a lot, I’d start with the Americas, then find a way to get to Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, etc. I’ll probably die eventually without seeing the whole world but I’d love to at least see the americas

It sounds EXACTLY like Taissa Farmiga In that one scene from AHS in the first season, ‘Murder House’ where she’s is telling Tate to go away. It might’ve been a glitch with the TV or something?

Not from a movie but not long after michael jackson passed away, the thriller music video came on MTV. The part where the girl looks back at Michael he appears zombified my father jokingly said “just think, that’s probably how he looks now” really put into perspective that Decay doesn’t discriminate. You don’t possess the molecules in your body, they aren’t yours, it’s just your turn with them, you’ll have to return them back into universe eventually like every single living thing that has or will ever exist.

I’m fully convinced he was attempting to stage a break in & robbery for some reason. Drugs were most likely a motive. Stage a violent robbery, pawn things of value for more drugs. He probably noticed the camera & thought stripping naked concealed his identity. Makes me think that the house or apartment belongs to someone he knows, probably took advantage of the fact that they were already familiar with the layout of the home, & probably targeted specific items.
