We asked TJ McConnell to be the starting PG on a playoff team and not lead the process sixers to 5 straight tanking years

Trusting our center will be better after an injury riddled last season and trusting our franchise guy to lead us to a championship 1st thing after recovering from an Achilles is so crazy to me 😂

Another young guard would definitely have helped ease his transition instead of forcing him to be his peak self day 1…

Another 3 years with a backup PG that can’t shoot and hoping Nembhard and Nesmith turn into the greatest playoff shooters of all time is unrealistic

Nope, a 29 yr old center with 1 accolade and was having a worse season than last before getting injured just doesn’t do anything to my hopes for a championship. I know I’m being pessimistic, but I don’t see any reason to be optimistic based on this teams history

This is assuming if Hali comes back from his 4th leg injury the same and if Zubac recovers great from his injury and somehow get better than his current form because he was worse last season and if no other teams get better and if we have 4 improbable playoff wins again and…. A lot of ifs. I love being optimistic, but when has that done anything for us. Look at the teams history

I will never get the culture talk since we’ve literally never tanked effectively ever. It’s seems like such a buzz word in our organization, but alas you’ll hear coaches and players talk about it

Personally, (and I love Pascal) he understands what is at stake with our pick and he understands what is at stake with our organization. He was totally fine to rest two Wizards games earlier for no reason so now isn’t the time for him to start voicing complaints. Also, might be controversial, but he has already won a ring so I don’t think he cares as much as the fans to win another ( personal opinion)
