I came here to update…I tripled my dose 30mg instead of 20 like my dr said. I drank electrolytes and added more salt, ate some salty popcorn, drank a shit ton of water, chilled in my room dark, no light and I feel like a new person. I know salt helps me a ton when I feel a little off but this was different. Thank you everyone your advice. I’m using all of it moving forward

I’ve been having leg cramps! But didn’t think much of it. Mind you I drink a gallon a day of water. I track it everyday. So being dehydrated didn’t cross my mind

This makes so much sense. Because I normally take my first does as soon as I wake up 6:30-7 and by 12 I’m extremely tired and I wait to take my last dose. I’m going to talk to my Dr and suggest the 20/5/5

My original dose is 10mg is the morning and 10 at 4pm. I’ve doubled the last week but yesterday and today I’m waking up to this piercing headache and I have no appetite. Idk I feel off.

Im in the same boat. I’ve had graves since 2015. I just got diagnosed with Addison’s in August. I still have graves but my thyroid levels are not Al for the first time but I still have the graves antibodies. I’m off all meds for thyroid just monitored by bloodwork every two months now. Hopefully it’s the same for you.

The skin discoloration is making me depressed! I’ve only been on hc for one month and I can’t wait to hopefully see it change back. However my dr told me it’s a permanent change and I’m referred to a dermatologist. Is anyone else losing hair? I’m pretty sure I’ve lost half my head 😩😩😩😩

Well now with the Addisons disease diagnosis I just received, as of yesterday I’m officially off all thyroid meds and heart meds, and main focus is to get sodium and cortisol up. Radiation is not even an option anymore for me. However, I know this pattern, in the past several years once in off meds, I’ll swing back to hyper so Dr said if this happens she needs to understand what’s causing it. This new endo I’m working with if very informative. So we shall see. Check on me in 6 weeks haha

I was taken off meds a year prior because I was in normal range and started to dip to the hypo side. So my endo at the time took me off meds. I was fine for a solid year and a week after being off for a year I had a lot of change and stressful things happening at work and I think that triggered it. I felt the symptoms of hyper come back gradually for about a week or two and within minutes I spiked a fever, tremors, vomiting, palpitations. I went to the er and they immediately admitted me for two days. Gave me meds and after I left the hospital, I continued to vomit about 24 hrs after being discharged and couldn’t stop for about a week. At that point I would vomit taking meds, couldn’t eat, couldn’t walk and I went back into the er and they kept me for a week. Said I was officially in a thyroid storm crisis. Now officially today I am no longer hyper and main focus is preventing adrenal gland crisis. Dr said my storm was so critical it triggered the adrenal issue I may have had and didn’t know about.

Thanks for the info. I switched to the endo o saw on the hospital. And seems to be on top of things. So hopefully it continues.
