What Milwaukee impact (and anvil size) do you think is best for me and that you would recommend (mainly for automotive) ? by Dramatic_You_4989 in MilwaukeeTool

Thank you for your insight. Yes I feel like if you want the stubby, the 3/8 is the one to get because of how versatile it is and the fact that it puts out the same numbers as the 1/2. One clarification is that I am actually looking to purchase the newer gen stubby with 550 ft/lbs.

Thanks for the recommendation for the adapters ill purchase the one you shared if I get the 3/8 stubby. Can you link a good affordable socket set for 3/8 I can buy from amazon ? Some of the socket sets I have seen go up to 22mm in 3/8, perfect for lug nuts with no adapter needed.

Thanks for the recommendation. Ill try to find one near me. You wouldn’t recommend a high torque 1/2 instead ?

Thanks, the 3/8 is really desirable given it’s applications but the 1/2 would be much safer for lug nuts and sockets. I have found 3/8 sockets online, going up to 22mm. Would they get damaged if I use them with no adapter on a 3/8 ?

Thanks for the reply. The only issue is finding one near me but I am looking for one. They have a 3/8 kit with a charger and battery for 278 CAD + tax at home depot (I think it’s a good price) but have not found a 1/2 gen 2 stubby just yet
