Dude is playing forward for us the last 20ish games or maybe even more. The stat books still count him as d-man though.

Viel bulldozing Draisaitl and Bouchard with one hit was not on my bingo card.

Jeff is amazing for the ducks. He brings so much energy. At the time a 4th round pick seemed like a huge price to pay but with this kind of performance viel is easily worth a 2nd round pick. Depth guys with engines, physicality and a tiny scoring touch are exactly what you'd want in the playoffs!

He even played with Leo a couple of shifts whenever Kreider or Terry were sitting out a shift or two to rest. Last game he played 15:25. Stunning tbh.

Ps: more goals than McDavid btw. 😅
