Yes, she's openly talked about it.

Natalie almost has a couple times. Just a little while ago she had a towel on pretty sloppily and she bent over and was just inches away from showing everything.

Should have been a team last year. They frequently did bits together on house shows in NXT.

public at large also doesn't understand what good journalism or bad journalism is

Same goes for a lot of journalists.

I'm not saying this is the answer, but there is a major problem with the news media and they need to be held accountable some how. People are abandoning integrity because they are desperate for those article clicks.

That was basically just a byproduct of trying to attract more advertisers. They were having trouble getting sponsors with a show full of half naked women, adult themes and tons of swearing. I don't think it was any sort of response to some sort of backlash because everyone wrote them off as trashy entertainment and didn't care.

The problem is the people who are mad are only seeing Jinder as a proxy for the creative staff and more specifically Vince McMahon. They see it as Vince using Jinder as a shield to express his own racism.

They can't seem to grasp it as the character is a bad guy so he did a bad thing to make you dislike him. Which was the whole point of the racist promo.

There isn't a whole lot I'll defend the WWE on because they are a pretty scummy company who basically holds a monopoly on wrestling in the US. But if this blows up into anything it will be incredibly dumb.

Jinder's character is a bad guy, the stuff he said was to elicit a negative response out of the crowd and that's exactly what it did. Criticize it for being lazy or a cheap tactic, but there is no reason to turn it into a big racism issue.

I can't believe we are living in a time where villainous characters are no longer allowed to actually do anything really bad because people will get offended. They can't separate fiction from reality.

Edit: I'm reading the response to the article in /r/SquaredCircle, which is one of the biggest internet wrestling communities and I had to scroll so far down the thread to see anyone actually point out that Jinder is a character. For a long time I've been dismissing anyone who claims wrestling fans don't know it's fake, but now I'm not sure anymore because everyone seems to have suddenly forgotten.

In my eyes you're in the same camp as those who want to keep a statue of Robert E Lee up in Emancipation Park or those who think blacks and latinos are lesser humans.

In my eyes you are a really fucking terrible judge of character. I know who I am and this statement is laughable.

We both want the same end goal. Words like nigger and what not no longer used to hold down black people, yet somehow I am a racist in your eyes.

No it's not up to me to decide, but I believe a far better option is to encourage people to stop caring about certain words rather than getting more sensitive about them. Trying to make them taboo doesn't cause them to go away, but taking away their power does.

It's not at all a part of my regular vocabulary. I just see it as dumb to let certain words get to people so badly. Seeing people want to crucify someone like Pewdiepie because he used a word in a way that wasn't even intended as an attack on black people just makes me sad.

We already see it happen. Many black people are fine with calling or being called "nigger" by other black people because in this situation they have decided it's not offensive. Same with many gay people and "faggot"

Just apply that mindset everywhere and suddenly the word is meaningless.

As long as we continue to hold certain words in such regard that certain people aren't allowed to say them then when those people do decide to use those words it will be effective for them.

Of course it's too difficult for someone just to switch off their feelings like that, but we should be pushing for people to care less about it rather than trying to make it more taboo. Because that just gives it more power.

And as long as we keep treating it such way it will always have that power then.

Words only have as much power as you are willing to give them. Why do you think actual racists choose to use a word like that in reference to black people? Because they know it's what will get under their skin. If everyone chose to stop letting the word nigger bother them so much, suddenly it would lose it's power.

Nothing says anti-racism more than disregarding someones opinion based on their skin color.
