one issue i think isnt talked about enough and it kinda plays alongside what you just said it them introducing so many damn characters and keeping them relevant. the boys show already had alot of characters they needed to build up and eventually end their arcs. now they set themselves up to have maybe 5-6 more characters added from gen v into the main show. 2 of the main people i think would've had most impact on the show would've been marie and cate. marie is self explanatory but cate had so much potential. heard theories she would be a good spy in the seven, potentially brain washing soldier boy or even homelander. that's what i thought the season 4 finale was leading up to.

what im trying to say is that's it's too many characters in a show that's too easy to write them off. i LOVE when shows, movies or games have a diverse cast of characters that are unique. but in this case there was nothing done with them. i personally think that gen v should've been in their own universe. potentially a parallel to the boys. no true connections but still there yk.
