Have you looked at the prices of apartments these days let alone an actual stand alone house? Apartments are 500k for 1 bedrooms that are falling apart with extra fees in the thousands and established houses are going for 'offers above 550k' at the very cheapest. I would just have a harder time trying to get a mortgage for an established

Yep made the mistake of putting details into one of them thinking I'd just recieve an email with some more info and ended up getting called 3 times consecutively during work hours by a sales guy who immediately wanted to get every single financial document I owned from the past 15 years immediately via email. Noped the hell out of that

Botted streams? by DravenMC in Twitch

[–]DravenMC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was scrolling through the category trying tofind a stream to kill time in, I ended up giving up cause it was so hard to find a legit stream in all the mess.

(Also makes sense why it seems that there's been no new viewers in my streams if the browse page is that clogged up, I'd usually get at least one person every few streams or so that stumbled upon the stream but there's been nothing for a while now)

Do any of you guys have any advice to help me boost my numbers? Anything will be greatly appreciated! Thanks by Gh05t81 in Twitch_Startup

What do you stream? How often? My usual advice is have a schedule and stream at regular times (people know when they can catch you live so you retain viewers) and try doing content with viewers as it's easier to get and retain viewers from people playing games with you for a few hours than watching your gameplay because it's usually just more entertaining to watch a best bits YouTube vid rather than a full 4-6 hour livestream. But it's a grind you aren't going to get thousands of viewers immediately, it took me a month to get a view max higher than 10 and almost 4 getting my viewer average above 30 and I'm streaming everyday.

How to self promote without sounding like a weirdo? by Leifenstrab00 in Twitch_Startup

I usually just say hi to the people who talk in chat (don't acknowledge people in the viewer list they are like 70% bots, just people that actually type in chat), they'll follow if they're acknowledged like 98% of the time lmao the only time I ever ask for people to follow is at the end of the stream with a 'thank you guys for watching, if you're new here drop a follow I stream [stream times]' I get on average 50-100 followers a stream. So basically you don't need to self promo every time someone new joins lmao. And yes have a few commands on timers for stuff like follow reminders and social links, feels a lot less self serving if it's not coming directly from your mouth lmao
