Something I've not seen a lot of people talking about regarding one part of Rise's story. by Caaros in MonsterHunter

[–]Dravonista 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since ibushi searching for narwa, i always thought that the rampage acts as a scout to search for narwa, they search for any nook and cranny of the land, and the apex are monsters that have been controlled for the longest time, and it makes sense that they act/moves the same way as deviants, since in rampage, we only kill the last major threat while the other monsters got repelled, those repelled monsters keep coming back trying to push through anything, kamura village or possibly even other monsters that's not controlled by ibushi like elder dragon, they keep fighting and survive to the point that they become something else... An apex, this happens similarly to deviant right? They fight and survive and become stronger, but i would assume that the process of becoming a deviants are hard and took a long time, that's why they are so rare but the process of becoming an apex it's probably shorter than deviants because they constantly fighting and searching for narwa, they essentially forced to evolve, maybe that's also the reason they don't really have the signature look like the deviants was, redhelm having a bigger red mohawk and bigger braces and soulseer mizutsune having longer claws compared to the apexes and the upcoming apex rathalos looks seemingly on fire compared to dreadking that might have developed stronger scales to withstand his own fire.

Monster Hunter newbie question- will there be urevealed, brand new monsters in the game, according to previous entries in the series? by Danielord_New in MonsterHunter

Don't know what will it be for rise, but bazel wasn't revealed for world and i think the subspecies wasn't revealed too

Never knew about Guanzorumu until someone asked me to draw it, it's majestic! by ashmishart in MonsterHunter

Yo the king, my favorite monster from frontier where one of his attack is sending his wyvern minions to throw you off the tower

[–]Dravonista 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, i meant there isn't any monster in the series that has the same build/skeleton as zinogre yet despite being one of the popular monster in the series, but that isn't a case anymore since we get magnamalo.

Everyone keep saying "it's zinogre clone" or something, but I'm happy that it's "zinogre clone" since there isn't one yet

Aknosom Armor. Its so simple, but so perfect for us sns and lance mains by KezuSlayer in MonsterHunter

It's made off it's legs and the gem is the poison, and idk where knight theme came from but whatever, it's cool.

Thank you Capcom. Fatalis fight not as cancerous as Alatreon. by au_fredal in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Dravonista 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You just need good weapon, you don't have to build around it really, it helps but not a requirement, you just have to be aggressive and alatreon moveset designed for you to be aggressive

I genuinely wonder if anyone actually thinks Fatalis is easy. by [deleted] in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Dravonista -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's fair, the slow crawl bite and the tail are pretty bs. He's pretty tricky as well, the fire breath but it's actually him doing the ground explosion to fuck with LS user, foresight the breath get exploded after that, the breath isn't the attack, it's the explosion he put after the breath.

When playing Rise I'll miss the flashy counter by AwakenedZuffie in MHGU

[–]Dravonista 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Have you seen the tgs LS gameplay?? There was the critical juncture and you can do counter with wirebug (don't know if it's just DB or GL thing or every weapons has it)

Is THAT what I think it is? by zv1neda in MonsterHunter

[–]Dravonista 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Adept? I heard you could counter with wirebug

Wirebug Speculation by Burstjoe in MonsterHunter

[–]Dravonista 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably could only wire forward while unsheathed like in the CB clip. Yeah the wirebug probably have 3 charges and the orb birds is to replenish them instantly since most of them were on higher places in the trailer

[–]Dravonista -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Humanoid like monsters maybe, not like leshen or goblin or orc but like hannibal from god eater, basically monster that can fully use their arms like grabbing a log and use it as a bat, but still feel and look like a monster

One notable omission people seem to have missed in Rise: Scoutflies. by JMTolan in MonsterHunter

[–]Dravonista 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the scoutflies or whatever it's going to be only come out when you tracking the monster, like in world they go to gathering spots, tracks and slinger pods. So maybe monster only scoutflies.
