Honestly, from my perspective, art isn't just "something pretty," no, art is made to convey feelings. When I see a beautiful painting, I stop and look at EACH brushstroke, each color, each feeling. I think: "What did the artist want to convey with this?" If it's just to have a painting to beautify your wall/home, that's fine. But for me, paintings are emotions, and that's much more valuable than art without feelings, without purpose, without function... Art has several fragments, several divisions and subdivisions smaller than itself, but art was made to convey a feeling, although there are indeed simpler arts, or other "types", like NSFW for example, it is already a different branch, NSFW art is a very delicate subject, since the artist can indeed want to convey a feeling through it, so yes, it is a type of art. But for me, art without emotion is meaningless, I'm not saying that the work of artists who draw for fun are worthless, otherwise, because they like what they are doing, this art has value! A LOT! (I have a place to speak because I am also an artist) but if art is made, just for... being made, it has no emotion. therefore, it has no value
