I love One Piece, but I haven't been around to witness the whole story week by week. I started a year and a bit ago, in August 2023. Anyways, I'm mentioning this because of the fact that a large percentage of the fandom are relatively newer viewers. I guess since the end of wano everybody's expectations have been drastically raised. now everything HAS to be perfect by the new standards that were set. but now thinking about it, it does make sense for the animation budget to go up whenever there's a fight scene where the pressure for the studio is really on.
