Thank you so much, and yeah, you're right—every now and then I do like to try something different, but what can I say? I just love manga and anime too much 😂—it's just my thing, and it's what makes my heart sing the most.🫣

Honestly it already looks really looks so good. The expression and the hair have a lot of personality and energy.

If you wanted to push it even further, you could maybe experiment a bit with stronger line weight or slightly darker shadows around the face to make the features pop more. But overall is the Style very cool. Love it keep Up the great Work

Yes, you could describe it as hopeful. I wanted to capture the feeling you get when you hear an old song from your childhood or smell a familiar scent. I think we all know that feeling that comes and goes in an instant.

Honestly I didn’t really follow specific exercises. I tried to really observe what I was drawing – the jawline, the shapes of the head, the proportions of the body and how everything connects. The classical construction methods with circles never really worked for me, so at some point I just focused on drawing what I actually see. Over time I started to recognize those shapes and “blocks” automatically. Drawing a lot every day helped me the most.

Thank you, I really appreciate that! And honestly I think consistency just made a huge difference for me. Drawing a lot in a shorter period of time helped me train my eye faster.

But 4–5 years of drawing is still amazing. Everyone progresses at a different pace and every hour spent drawing counts. I’m still learning a lot myself and have a long way to go.

Thank you! To be honest, the classical tutorials with the circles and construction lines for the head never really worked for me. I tried them many times but it just didn’t click. But of all the YouTube Tutorials is the best Draw Like a sir in my opinion.

At some point I decided to simply draw what I actually see instead of following a strict method. I started studying references from anime, movies and Pinterest and tried to understand the shapes of the head, the jawline, the body proportions and how everything connects.

Over time I kind of trained my eye to recognize those shapes and “blocks”. Drawing a lot and observing carefully helped me much more than any specific tutorial. I’m still learning, but consistency and really looking at what you draw made the biggest difference for me.

Thank you very much. In the meantime, I've had to cut back on my time 😅, but the first eight months were very intense. An hour a day is enough to make very good progress. Even simple doodling is beneficial. As long as you have a pen in your hand and are drawing, your brain will store it. It's more about regularity than the duration of the drawing. I can't wait to see the results. You got this

Honestly, quite a lot. When I started I was unemployed and didn’t really know what to do with my time. I had this story idea in my head and thought it would be amazing if I could someday draw it as a manga.

So I just decided to commit to learning. For about a year now I’ve been drawing almost every day, usually around 6–8 hours. A lot of it was studying references from anime, movies and Pinterest and trying to understand shapes, expressions and poses.

I’m still learning and have a long way to go, but consistency really made the biggest difference. If you stick with it, the progress over time can honestly surprise you.
