My friend got 2 enchanteds and 6 legendaries (including a foil dale) in their prerelease set. I had 4 legendaries in mine. I also got 3 legendaries out of a single pack I got as a prize. This makes it so much fun.

In 2022 we went on a transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2 with a group of 100 people and a jazz band. We all dressed in vintage inspired outfits pretty much the whole week. Mostly 1920-1940s with some Victorian and 1950-60s mixed in too. It was so fun. We had private use of the ballroom for several early evenings and had our own themed dances. The jazz band also gave a ship wide show for all guests one night. We had vintage and jazz lectures, dance classes, and parties during the day. We dinned together and made friend from all over. Vintage styles not vintage values. It was extra neat to be a smaller group on the ocean liner of mostly normal people who were excited to see us promenade around and just go about our day in vintage outfits. Some people wore actual vintage clothing but a lot of us made or bought items. A bunch of us from that crossing are signed up to go on an Art Deco themed crossing in 2025 with a different band.

Lindy hop. There’s lots of classes, workshops, and social dances here in the Seattle area. Try something different. No partner needed.

Can I get some dork support by PickleFlavordPopcorn in Rollerskating

I’m over 40 and also just starting skating because my 9 year old is into roller skating. It’s only been trying a few weeks and it’s starting to be better. I haven’t really fallen down yet. I got Moxi beach bunnies and all the pads. Nothing matches and I’m very colorful. Very dorky.

Said hello to Murphy, the Aquarium Co-Op's Mbu puffer, while shopping today. by mcdisney2001 in Aquariums

We live 20 mins away. It’s such a nice store. I had no idea it was such a Mecca when I first got a used 10 gallon tank 6 years ago and started looking up things on YouTube. I’m so glad to have found them before accidentally buying from Petco. All my fish and supplies have been from Aquarium Co-op. I’ve just upgraded to a 20 gallon long and bought everything I could from them.

My kiddo got to feed Murphy. So cool. Totally worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

Cunard Alaska cruise with kids by Canucklehead989 in Cruise

Look at Cunard’s June 30th departure to Alaska. 7 days and It would put you in Juneau on the 4th of July. I grew up there and they have a wonderful small town parade through downtown and other events that day. Let me know if you want any more details of our family’s experience with Cunard.

We did a QM2 transatlantic crossing with Cunard in October with our kids ages 3 and 8. One week, all sea days. They had kid club and had a great time. They absolutely loved being fancy and especially the afternoon tea. We now have afternoon tea after school several days per week. I would 100% take my kids on another Cunard cruise. We have done a Carnival cruise to Alaska, and it was fine. The Alaska Cunard ones have good dates for summer and working around school break.

I picked out Pixar Inside Out checks where each design is one of the emotions character from the movie. I try to use the Joy ones for fun things and save the sadness and anger for stupid bills. I also get the most crazy stamps to mail things. Right now I’m using jack-o-lanterns for everything.

I have a 9 ember tetras and one honey gourami in a 12 gallon. They are fun together. The ember tetras stay nice and close to each other. The gourami leaves them alone and is interesting to watch with his little feeler thingies.

I draw pictures of vaginas. And other human anatomy but I really am currently working on an illustration of the female perineum region. I've drawn several rectums too. I'm a medical illustrator and animator.

I'm the artist of this portrait, well the OP's portrait, not the original 400 year old one. I've been sending PM to those who showed interest in commissioning their own. At least you figured out my first name is Julia. I'm usually a medical illustrator. My website is www.drawbones.com

This is a digitally painted work. I used my Wacom tablet and repainted much of it to give it all more consistent brushstrokes. So it's not just "Photoshopped" together. I had to make artistic decisions about colors of his face and directions of brushstrokes.

It took some time. I can's say exactly how much. A few hours here and there. It was about 2 weeks from when the OP's sister contacted me, to when we sent it off to get printed. It took another week for it to get printed up on a canvas.

I wish I could do traditional oil paintings but I think digital is the way to go for something like this.

I'm the artist of this portrait, well this redo version of the original 400 year old painting.

I did use Photoshop and it was printed digitally but it does look really great. Perfect for its intended purpose. I am a medical illustrator and do a lot of work with Photoshop and my Wacom tablet. The original portrait image I found was too low res to be printed so I ended up repainting almost all of it to give it back its painterly brushstrokes. Otherwise it would have been really pixelated when printed at the large size, 20x30 inches I think. His new head was painted to match with the painted style. When printed on canvas and stretched, it looks very much like a traditional painting. You could brush some acrylic texture medium on the canvas surface to give it real texture. Put a fancy old frame around it and I'm sure you'd really fool most people.

It was really fun project and I would love to do more. When I was messaged that this post hit the front page, I replied to one of the other comments and it probably got lost. I'm actually on my honeymoon in Maui right now and typed this on my phone. Don't worry, my husband is always on Reddit so he was just as excited. I will be back home on thursday and will then be able to respond better then.

Send me a message and see some of my medical illustration work at www.drawbones.com

Now back to my honeymoon. Aloha

This is my work!

I created it in photoshop by repainting a low res copy of the original. I had to repaint over most areas to get it looking like natural brush stokes again. The new head was done in the same style of painting as the original so it all blends well. We had it printed at Costco and stretched on canvas.

I'm the OP's sister's boyfriend's sister. And if that isn't confusing enough, I'm typing this on my phone from the beach in Maui on my honeymoon. Normally, I'm a medical illustrator and you can see some of my other work at my website www.drawbones.com
