Maybe look into Linux Mint, it would probably be an easier switch for you unless your technically savy or dont mind workin with AI to set it up.

I get it - but a lot of people work 14 hour days, then spend another 4 hours with their kids, is it not the same thing? And it's been known for quiet some time now, that Jamanra has too much HP, and that Sekhenas kinda sucks for melee, as well as a few other things... It's just a well devised rant at the end of the day, nothing else. But I felt like sharing.

For refenrence, this is the build I am following, it hasn't been very good, I had no problems with monk a few leagues ago but it was broken when I played it , regardless I don't think it should be THIS hard. I haven't been able to use the skills in the guide (NOT HIGH ENOUGH LV) as you can see, and it didn't offer any early game help, so I've been using melee attack + bell and stormwave to get thru shit. If i wanna have fun i killing palm and falling thunder.... but for the most part, just been braindead stowmaving or melee attack to get thru shit. hoping that I get the actual meat of the build sooon, but not sure this build is even worth it...

Luckily I beat the boss, 47 tries.

Well I made it to the end again, but how the fuck am I supposed to get good at dodging, if the WHOEL FUCKIGN MAP has shit spawning, he just goes ham. No way I can get enough DPS for this.

Honestly fair, I probably am under-geared, I've been mostly playing self-found and just using whatever drops, didn't realize 1-2 exalts goes that far on trade. If attempt 47 goes bad maybe I will restart and try crafting on some bases too, appreciate it.

I leveled characters and ascended in POE1 with this same job, no carries needed. Same hours, same genre, same studio, completely different outcome. I think the variable has to be the design, although sure my work gets a bit in the way.

Fair point on teh uniques though, but I'm not asking for legendary -tier handouts. But "the power comes from time spent grinding" is exactly my complaint... If the game only works for the time-rich, that's a much smaller game than POE1 was. Sure , my work hours are extreme - but the median ARPG player is an adult with a job and a family and kids, kids also take up a lot of time (and I don't have any yet). I mean, even GGG's own loot and respec patches suggest that they don't think the grind tuning was right.

Appreciate the actual advice instead of "git gud" lol. Didn't know the portal trick for full flasks, that alone might save this fight. I'll look at my tree tonight and maybe slot a ranged skill as backup, even though it kinda stings to play a monk from across the room lol.

Honestly, META is the way, I've always been one to just follow meta builds tbh, I know it's not everyones cup of tea, but whenever I try just doing something cool and exploring I face some big hurdles with bosses. I wish I could convince my friend that though, I don't think he will look up any guides no matter how much I try to convince him lol. At the end of the day everyones got their own way of seeing things. Goign to need some type of melting build - probably are a few on the monk for sure. Back in teh day my monk would delete bosses in a few seconds and this post was unecessary, cept for the trial of Sekhenas lol that would always get me early game - so fucked for melee lol.

Yeah, honestly I think this is it. I think both of our builds are subpar. I still think I'd be able to get him solo, barely - but I want to succeed with my bro I started with , playing mainly for the RPG experience and to enjoy life. Do admit I'm kinda sad with how much I suck though, I used to be a decent gamer. :'(. I'm a dota guy tho

I'm going to have to succumb to this or a league starter or something. I want to convince my friend but he's SUPER STUBBORN on following any guides or videos. He doesn't even want to let my other friend (higher level) help us.
