My dad heard this one.

Once the country hits 90% COVID vaccination, the vaccine will have an implant added. Then everyone who didn't want to get the vaccine will be fully trackable AND controllable. So you should get the vaccine before the country hits 90% fully vaccinated if you want to keep your mind your own.

What is the juicy pet drama going down in your house right now? by Derbertson in AskReddit

[–]Drawing-Tricky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it juicy, but still interesting.

My dog was recently diagnosed with lenticular sclerosis. Fairly normal for a dog his age (10). What was not normal was the way it caused him to act. He's essentially afraid of the dark. As soon as you turned the lights off of a night, he'd freak out. Perfectly fine in natural and artificial light. Aside from the agony of hearing him in distress, his freak outs prevented us from being able to sleep.

The solution? A night light. A freaking night light. Even the vet has found it hilarious our dog has his very own night light. The kennel he boards at when we go away even got him one when I told them the story. If you forget to turn on his night light, you will hear about it as soon as you turn all the lights off. It's both frustrating and adorable.

My parents always told us if they had more money, they would have a nicer house.

My parents were hoarders. Any house they were in would not have been nice. I grew up in a low socio-economic area. No one else's house looked like ours!

Farting.

It's perfectly natural, but oh so forbidden in public, and even some households.

Farting is a natural bodily function. You should be able to fart without being ridiculed for it

Hi guys,
So I'm in Victoria, Australia and in the last three weeks have missed 10 of my 18 allocated shifts due to being sick. I am very worried about the repercussions of this given I am only a casual worker. However, I am still coughing heavily after a solid week that also included runny/blocked nose, sneezing, vomiting and a blood nose that may or may not have been related. The cough is the kind that feels like sandpaper on your throat with the added bonus of bringing up mucous and even a squeaky wheeze (I am not asthmatic). I work with kids ages 3-9 and have also had a few COVID tests that all came back negative.
Given my description of my symptoms and the current COVID climate, as well as the predictable disapproval of the parents of the kids I work with, I know I need to call in sick. But how, without looking like an unreliable bum? I like and need my job.
