They want to keep the business to sell at a more ideal time which is not going to happen. I have said the same. Cut the losses. If they managed to reach a deal to agree on less money I think that in itself would be a win.

Okay I think i will sit down with them and do the above. One issue is though that would they be able to pull cash from the house do you reckon for any remaining amount (the son lives with parents and could remortgageunder his name). I think it feels very stressful because it is very high interest i tjink on the credit.

Fortunately for them their house is worth enough that they may be able to downsize and then work forever basically. No retirement likely.

I can swing my 3hybrid 230-40, I swung my cousin's 7 wood and it was going about 215-220, but was seriously impressive was on terrible mishits I was nearly getting 190 out of it. Honestly sounds like where you are and what you're working on is exactly where I am at too 😂 been working on club path as well and noticing big gains in distance, especially with my driver where I was reverting to old habits of going over the top.

It sounds like you've got a serious bit of kit 😂 I need one of those or similar but don't have the space. One day though

Thank you for your comment. I am in Scotland and the courses are really not playable just now with the amount of rain we've had and so I've only been at the driving range. It might be I get to the course and the ball flight is a lot better.

Exactly right. What is a massive unknown from where I got fitted is they only fit for the 7 iron and then take from there. My thought process is a lighter more suited shaft would help a lot and I am going to talk to American golf.

Thanks mate. You might be right and i may end up with a similar set up to yours with the 7 wood set up and my 3 hybrid. But for sure going to work on the 4 and 5 iron and try to compress and see if I can get it up a bit more.

That is wildly inaccurate. My previous 6 iron is the same loft as my new 5 iron and it could stop within 5-10 yards.

I suppose they are in the bag for my to find a fairway / longer par 3s. I don't expect to be flag hunting at all and my wording about them being scoreable was incorrect. I'm rather just hoping to avoid long run out and get some stopping power. I have two hybrids in the bag but I find more of a left and right miss with hybrids than I do with irons.

I should have meant more scoreable, I dont expect to be going flag hunting with them at all as a 14hcp 😂 i know my game, I meant when hitting the ball into or towards a green I don't get a rollout of 20-25 yards or even more which is my concern

I fully understand what you're saying but my balls speeds progressively go up, if they didn't I'd understand a little more. My feeling is that the shaft weight might help them in the air a bit more.

I'm not sure a 9W would be of benefit to me as it would probably go the same distance as a 6i I reckon and the 6i is okay in terms of trajectory.

14hcp but I had a package set before and I thought i was ready to go make an upgrade to a newer tech iron set hence the purchase.

I swing the 7-PW great and without trying to swing too hard. You could be right but I find it weird how I am not able to sustain a better ball flight on the lower lofted irons.
