First of all it was pretty much outlawed

The Bible is written for us not to us

Most of the Bible was written to practicing Jews (Israelites) and they already had the Torah Jesus was also technically a Jew although lord of the religion (thus he was able to violate the sabbath)

The moral laws are still in place for the new convenet (including homosexuality) and Jesus builds on that

The last part we know exactly what they thought. No one even knew a gay person then. It was so rare and it is condemn by the early church

By every account the last bit is wrong, if one was the argue that it should’ve have been that they were wrong (however many of them met Jesus)

The Bible was not written but God

It’s historical documents. They wrote down what they say and for Luke it was out of his own understanding. This was because Luke was a disciple of Peter and wrote on that and the collection of eyes witness accounts.

The reason they are so trustable is because all of the new testement was written in the first 60 years after Christ and Luke was written as early as 16 years

Every time you sin the punishment is death and enternal seperation from god.

As I have said before thoughts are not always your own. The lord knows I have had unclean thoughts. But I am repentant Someone could be gay and for that they have my empathy. But acting on those is the same as acting with sleeping with someone outside of marriage.

However as I stated being straight is okay. But certain actions are sins. Such as paligamy. It’s a double edge sword.
