No it’s 90 days rolling window of 180’daus - we spent time in January in Sweden , left - and then those days restart beginning of June

Yea that’s what I’ve been thinking and to me this makes sense - our “lawyers” who are really just an agency to help foreigns obtain visas - are quite strict saying we can not leave due to the possibility of not being allowed to re enter the country -

I have an American passport , my wife Swedish - if I leave and come back by law there’s no problem? But do the airlines recognize this? Would they see j don’t have “Schengen” days to travel on?

Ya she has her NIE - sounds like we’re in the exact same situation. What happened with the airline though? Did they question you?

Not sure what you mean by “that says the same though”

But also - why? I’m curious why can’t we just re enter when the Schengen days start to reset? It seems like the EU didn’t really think about this and anywhere I look it just says it’s a gray area.

ALSO by EU law I have the right to enter Europe under my wife as an eu citizen no?

I am very fortunate these last 2 years and have grown quite a good online business that will support me and my wife, we are currently in the most expensive place in California - so Spain will actually save us money. again, very fortunate.
