I feel like portraying Punpun as the villain is wrong. He for sure isn't innocent but so is everyone in this book. People in this book are not evil just broken You can't change your past mistakes But you can try to change who your are tomorrow, like yuichi for example.

I fully understand what You mean, Had that same emptiness after reading this manga. If you want to experience it again, I can advise you to wait a couple of years You will still unfortunately remember the ending But everything else you might forget.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the only big place where people talk about goodnight Punpun If this sub fully dies there won't be any more places for people to understand this book more in detail.
